Basic Courses

Start at the beginning, or learn a different basic technique. It’s all here for you!

Learn to crimp and make eye loops in this 1 ½ hour class. You’ll leave with a bracelet and earrings. Supplies included.

If you are comfortable with crimping and eye loops, then start here. You’ll learn the Rosary turn (wrapped loop), clasps, a caged bead, and go home with a wire wrapped, embellished donut. Supplies included.

When you’ve learned the basics of wire wrap, it’s time to start bundling wires. This class focuses on wrapping a cabochon. Supplies included.

Make it simple or complex – you choose. We’ll discuss clasps, cones, techniques, and design.

Learn to knot between 6mm fire polish beads, creating either a clasped or a continuous strand**.

Make a vintage style necklace that ties around your neck like a lariat. Use two cones to learn this simpl;e yet elegant technique!

Learn this ancient Japanese braiding technique to make a stunning bracelet. (project must be pre-strung before the calss)

Kumihimo II .............3 hours $35.00

Take the technique you learned in Kumi I to make an absolutley stunning piece with semi-precious beads...take your kumi to the next level!

Crochet With Wire . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 3 hours $35

Make a fabulous 4 strand necklace and learn to attach a cone. You’ll need about 200 beads, cones, 22g wire and a clasp. We supply the crochet hook and 30g sterling wire.

Crochet with Metallic thread.........3 hours $35.00

Learn to crochet with this delicate and eye popping metallic thread! Use little beads to make a regal statement!

Crochet (continual strand)..........2 hours $40.00 including supplies

Learn to make a chain like continual strand, 60 inch long necklace!! includes three tubes or seed beads, crochet hook and thread!

Wire I (prerequisite: Beginning Beading) - Chandelier Earrings focus: eye loops. . . 2 hours $30

Construct the frame entirely from eye loops and crystals or fire polish beads. Reinforces eye loop techniques. Complete one in class.

Learn to manipulate thicker wires and make a funky, fun bracelet.

We don’t create gold from base metal, but we will learn to flatten wire without a hammer. Add crystals for that spark of elegance.

Metal Classes

Learn how to stamp, mold, and make pendants and beads out of a gooey, sticky clay. This is a studio type class with ongoing classes every other week. Please call the shop for further details.

Metal Madness...............6 hrs....$65.00

Take copper sheet metal and tuen it into a bracelet or series of pendants! Lwarn how to emboss, stamp, texture, anneal, rivet, punch, patina and genarlly bend the metal to your will!! Bring a lunch and make a day of it! Class includes kit.

Tubular Ndebele Herringbone with Fringe Explore Ndebele – single color or add patterns, your choice! Optional fringe hides the clasp.

NETTING..........2 HOURS - $30

Spiral Sparkles. Swirls of Swarovski crystals and seed beads encircle your wrist or neck. Very easy once you’ve established the rhythm.

FGF Bracelet/Necklace (netting). Very easy, yet AMAZING bangle bracelet using two sizes of seed beads and fire polish beads.

OGALALA..........2 HOURS – $30

Ogalala Cascades. This is a traditional Native American netting stitch, which can be embellished with Lucite or other focal beads.

PEYOTE............3 HOURS - $40

Peyote Basics (even count – seed beads) Turn flat swatches into round tubes, learn to read a simple pattern, or brush up on your peyote skills.

Peyote Necklace (even count – triangle beads) Like the look of bead crochet but find it too frustrating? Try this necklace made of triangle beads and your focal.

Russian Leaves I

4 Delicas recommended for this project. Learn the classic Russian Leaf pattern. Make one or more leaves for pendant, earrings, etc. Combine the leaves with an FGF necklace for a stunning piece.

Russian Dragonfly (prereq: Russian Leaves I) 4 Delicas recommended for this project. Prepare leaves prior to class and turn them into a dragonfly!

SQUARE Stitch

2 hour or One – 4 hour class – $45

Gypsy or Flower Bracelet (square stitch/embellishment) This class is perfect for people who like to have structure and be a little wild, too! In class 1, you prepare the bracelet base. In class 2, you make a clasp and embellish the project.**

Take this basic stitch class to start your addiction with seed beads! weave your way to a beautiful bracelet!

Woven Elegance.........1.5 hrs $25.00
