Where it all began...
First opened in 2001, as Beads Beads Beads, in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Amy sought to deliver a comfortable space for beaders to come together and share their creativity, stock up on beads, tools, wires, and supplies, while always treating every person as a personal client, providing the highest level of customer service available in Broward County.
In 1997, Amy opened the second Beads Beads Beads store in Plantation FL. Again, with the idea of cultivating creativity and delivering great customer service.
Now, fast forward to 2010...
Amy's passion for beads and creativity has helped to create an atmosphere that customers return to again and again. The new store, Amy's beads, in Plantation, FL, offers customers a huge selection of beads, jewelry, crystals, tools, supplies and a large selection of classes with professional teachers.
In addition to offering an amazing selection of beads and materials, Amy's Beads is home to a wide variety of exciting and fun classes designed to cater to everyone from first-time beaders to expert jewelry makers.
With her mother being a Geologist, and her father a Mining Engineer, it was only natural for Amy to follow into the Lapidary field.
At the age of eight, her parents put her into basic beading classes. this is where it all began. Amy has been beading for almost thirty years, and loves the calm and relaxation it brings to her on a daily basis. When she opened her first store, she found another way to relax...teaching. Amy loves the look of excitement that comes across a student's face when they finally "get it". To her, that is definitely one of the most rewarding things!
