wow, how time flies!

I am so sorry for taking so long to post a blog post! It is no excuse but there has been a lot of changes going on personally for me. I am getting married in 9 days, holy cow. And then, in October, we found out we were pregnant! I am almost five months along, and it is going to be a baby girl!! We are going to name her Zoey. I can't wait.

So, what has everyone been working on? I am dying to know. The trend in the store is definitely going more towards seed beads, we can't keep them in stock. But we do have a shipment coming soon, next Tuesday I think.

Also, the metal madness classes have taken off! It's great. Last Saturday we had a great class, everyone made two or three things, and even left with extra sheet metal to still work on. Make sure to check out our FB page to see Ronnie's awesome heart pendant. I love it. Also, Shani made a great dog tag for her pup. So cute!

The next class is Sat March 24th, the day after our bead night. And speaking of that, make sure to reserve your spot, it is already filling up!

Bead NIght was awesome!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to everyone who participated in Bead Night last night!! it was awesome, so much fun, everyone had great projects they were working on, truly a great evening!!!

I hope everyone who was here had a great time, I know I did!

We are getting our tools, glues and stringing materials back in on Tuesday, so if we have been out of anything make sure to stop by! :)

We also got a huge shipment of Tierra Cast in last week, and lots of new items, some really cool links.

I am placing a seed bead order today or monday, so we should have them in after next weekend!! Call the shop to check when they have come in. I will post it on facebook too!

Merry Late Christmas, Happy late Hanukkah, and Happy New Year!!

Getting locked out of your account for over a week is awesome!! (just kidding)

At least it is fixed now! So excited!

Just got back from Arizona, and it was a great trip, short, but great. Marko and I got to hang out with my family for a few days, see some great sunsets, and check out the miniature museum. It is an entire museum dedicated to doll houses. Interesting, they have classes too. Some of the work is so tiny, it was cool.

So, this was just a quickie, ha ha, I will write more in the new year!! Happy New Year!!!

Let's hope 2012 will be bigger and brighter for all of us..it's was a tough year for a lot of us in 2011, but keep the faith! Believe in yourself and go out and make it happen! Don't just feel sorry for yourself, step out, set your goals, and don't stop til you achieve those goals! My Facebook friends, I hope you all have an amazing new year!!!

Good morning!!

I hope everyone has had a great week since I last blogged! We have been so busy teaching classes this last week, I haven't had time to blog...I am not complaining though! I am super grateful for how busy we have been.

Some exciting news, we have gotten some last minute holiday/christmas gifts in, just in case you run out of time to make your friends gifts! Some Lil Monsters, which are flying off the shelves, and also a few wrap bracelets and sailor's knot bracelets to help fill out you gift giving lists!

Also, sale from yesterday until Saturday....25% off all metals and semi-precious, along with a classes special, buy two get the third one free!

Geez time flies!!

I apologize for not blogging for a while, we have been very busy here at the shop, between Havana Beads trunk show which was an amazing success! Raida has already started making beads for her next show here!

I just want to say thank you very much to all of our wonderful customers and supporters! We couldn't do it all without you, and we want to make sure that you know it. Out attitude of gratitude is hopefully contagious, and it is a very positive force for everyone!

Make sure to let everyone you know that you are thankful for them, tomorrow is too late! you never know what might happen, life is short.

Please have a wonderful Holiday season(don't worry, I will still be blogging) and be grateful every second of everyday!!

Its a little late, but.....

I truly hope that everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving. I know I had a lot to be thankful for, and my thanksgiving was amazing.

We also had an amazing Black Friday, and an even better Small Business Saturday. Thanks to all who came and saw us over the weekend. It was great to see all of those familiar faces and smiles.

I am so excited for this weekend! We are proud to be hosting the Havana Beads Trunk Show again this weekend. Friday and Saturday only, and we will be announcing a sale this weekend as well. Please make sure to come in and see all of the beautiful things Raida has made for this weekends show! I heard she has been on the torch non stop!!!! : )

I can't wait!!

oops! so sorry for the delay!

Wow, turkey day is almost here... it came so quickly this year.

AND, it's BEAD NIGHT today!! whoo whoop! time to hurry up get ready, go make the mozarella sticks, get the chairs, get the ice, make the salsa, get the crackers...so much to do!!!!!!!!! lol I love bead night.

How many of you who read this blog have been to bead night? Post a comment and let us know what you think of it. Is there anything that needs to be improved? Maybe have it twice a month so it is not so crowded? Once on a friday and once on a saturday night? hmmmm. I am looking for your ideas and or tips!!

On a beady note, we just got all of our plated wires back in, we also just got a whole huge shipment of picasso glass back in.....and all of the leather and cords for the leather wraps bracelet are back too!!

so, when are you going to make it in?? I know this next week is crazy, but we want everyone to know just how grateful we are for each and every one of you!! it is the time for extra gratitude!!!! it's thanksgiving week!!

so we are giving thhanks for everyone out there. We love you all dearly and hope you have a great thanksgiving if we don't see you before!!

such a beautiful morning!!!

WOW, it is so gorgeous outside! I just got back from my first run since March, and it was a wonderful morning. I definitely need to get back to it, but it was really nice.

On saturday, our soldered pendant class went amazingly well. All four students completed their pendants, and all four of them loved it so much they all bought the kits!!

I had to order more of them yesterday! yippeeeeeeee! Now, ladies, you know who you are, we want to see photos posted on our facebook page of all of your pendants!!!

Let's see, what else??? What holiday projects have you started working on? Angel earrings? little wreaths? pumpkin bracelets? Let us know, we are dying to know!!!

We just got in a whole set of Tierra Cast Christmas Past Charms, that look so cute! the toggle for the charms is a wreath with the bow as a toggle bar. Love it!

good morning!!!

Good morning out there in cyber space!!

What a difference a day makes!! I am so excited, my kidneys are doing really well, and finally I found some products to help me digest wheat and animal products. I am still avoiding soy, since it is so bad for the kidneys. I am excited!! I had some chicken yesterday, and it was awesome! I am so grateful for every single little bite I was able to eat!! yum!

But, onto the beads!!! We have some exciting news in the email going out today....We are going to start matching our competitors advertisements.....our competitors consist of other brick and mortar bead stores in south Florida. So any bead store south of Jupiter Florida, we will match their sale specials that they are running. We know you have a choice when you shop with us, and we want you to know that we appreciate you choosing Amy's Beads.

It is our way of showing how grateful we are for each and every one of our clients. We are so lucky to have all of you welcome us back with open arms after our absence.

Happy November!!!

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope everyone had such a great Halloween! I know I did. We didn't get many trick or treaters, but the two we did were super cute!

On a beady note, we are getting a whole bunch of new stuff in this week....Some new ceramic beads, new tools for our soldered pendant class, some glass pieces for that same class. AND, the soldered pendant class is even already on the books! it's this Saturday, so if you want to come, just call the shop and reserve your space!

I have to make a few more examples to put up on the site!! They are already up on Facebook.

So, leave us comments about your Halloween! We need to know! lol, did you bead? Make any creepy earrings? or did you rock out with a killer costume?

Anywho, gotta get to the shop, time to count beads! :)
